- This project is a collaboration between Danielle Itzhaqi and Andrea Bakketun. Using Andrea´s movement researches and Danielle´s background from action art has shaped the work, and created a common field of interest between the artists. Entering the project with a research minded approach, a series of actions with bag has developed. The researches has so far resulted in one exhibition; which has functioned as an action to recruit more participants to the project. Documentation of the show will also be used as starting point for future projects. This blog has been created for communication, follwing future projects and for bringing in contributions from those interested. Similar to invisible theatre, the motivation behind this project is to pull the viewer into the artwork; first as a spectator, watching the performance from above, then through video which is suggesting what is going on inside, and finally by experiencing through own body. The gap between what's happening on the inside of the bag and on the outside, reflects the usual gap between a viewer and an artpiece. Viewers used to experiencing art in a more distant manner are here welcomed to be included in the work.
